Eulah Creek Narrabri Santiago Noordwijk

Jozef Beugelsdijkstraat 36

Here an impression of the townhouse where we lived in the Netherlands from 1997 to 2000.

In a townhouse somewhere in the middle of a row the outside geometry is simple - there is a front side and a back side.

Front side

In front there was a bench for granny and grandpa to rest at the end of a long day...

Information for lovers of tulips: "Tulips from Amsterdam" actually come mostly from the area of Aerdenhout to Noordwijk, rather than the city of Amsterdam, see below.

View from front side

The house is situated right on the borderline of Noordwijk Binnen towards Noordwijk aan Zee, where there is an area of flower fields about 400 metres wide, with a view onto the backside of the dunes, behind which there is the North Sea.

Garden (back side)

In the Netherlands the following is called a "garden". Having lived in other countries (with more space and cheaper real estate prices) since, one might consider it more of a joke, being less than 10 metres by 5 in size, but ok. At the time it was fine - and this is a typical feature of (sub-)urban life in the Netherlands.

The "view" from the back side of the house is not worth mentioning or showing, unless one wants views at oblique angles of more gardens such as the one above...
