Birds at Narrabri Lake

There is a separate page on all Australian birds spotted by us.

At Narrabri Lake, in Narrabri West, the following birds were spotted by us from 2003 until now. They are listed here in four categories, according to the timing of their sightings.

In some cases the categorisation indicates a trend - we see the occasional Pied Currawong all year around, but they are mostly around the place in winter, while during spring/summer they retreat further into the bush.

Bird species we have seen breeding at Narrabri Lake (with at least a photo of a nest or nest entrance) are marked with a clickable superscript "N", leading to the relevant breeding information.
