With his help we obtained first photos of, and were able to identify, the following species: Beach Stone-curlew, Red-capped Plover, Caspian Tern, Long-billed Corella, Swift Parrot, Brown Gerygone, Regent Honeyeater, Russet-tailed Thrush.
Further significant improvements were made with his help on Chestnut Teal, Scaly-breasted Lorikeet, Bell Miner.
In addition, his advice led to the identification of an unusual hybrid between Scaly-breasted Lorikeet and Musk Lorikeet, as described here.

During a bird-watching trip to central Queensland special access to the wetlands on the property was kindly granted by the owners of Capricorn Resort, Yeppoon (external link). This has led to a significant number of additions to the bird pages. Both the privilege of entering the property and the new information collected there are most gratefully acknowledged. Each contribution arising from this visit is acknowledged individually on the respective bird pages. In particular, the following bird pages have been created or updated with improved photos based on information gathered in the resort's wetlands:
