It is striking that we find almost no robins at the place where we live since 2007, 20 km east of Narrabri. There are trees on the property connecting to a small patch of woodland. However, this as a whole is isolated from more extended bushland further east connecting to Mount Kaputar National Park, in which all kinds of robins are residents. Where we lived previously, 20 km south of Narrabri, on the edge of Jack's Creek State Forest which borders on the Pilliga scrub and Nature Reserve, there were various robins also around the farm.
