Range, habitat

Elegant Parrots populate basically two regions of the Australian continent: The south-west of WA (except the coastal tip) and the area from about Adelaide along the Flinders Ranges in SA. They also disperse further into south-eastern SA, occasionally into western VIC. Occasionally also found along the Gascoyne River in north-western WA.

Sightings

We have not seen an Elegant Parrot out in the wild yet. The photo below was obtained in captivity.
