Paroo-Darling National Park, NSW, Australia |
Here a few photos taken at Paroo-Darling NP. This is an inland NP in NSW, north-east of Wilcannia. Its main features are the two inland rivers, the Paroo and Darling Rivers, plus their floodplains. The River Red Gums lining the riverbanks are the home of large numbers of various types of cockatoos. Waterbirds follow the river courses during times of floods, often towards breeding grounds in other parks, such as e.g. the Narran Lakes Nature Reserve or Kinchega NP. Note that some photos presented on this website are available FOR SALE.
