Naturpark Hohes Venn-Eifel, Germany/Belgium |
Here photos taken by us at Nature Park Hohes Venn-Eifel (Parc Naturel Hautes Fagnes-Eifel), which is shared between Germany and Belgium under the name "Deutsch-Belgischer Naturpark". It is located south-west of Aachen, south-east of Liege, in the border region between the two countries. Although at only moderate altitude, the low-mountain range terrain is rugged and the climate noticeably rougher than, e.g., in the valley of the river Rhine.
